About Myrtle Beach Bat Removal

Welcome to myrtlebeachbat.com. We are the only qualified bat removal company in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We are one of the largest bat removal companies in the area. We have been providing our bat removal services to homeowners and business owners for up to three decades. In that period, we have demonstrated our commitment to providing customer care and delivering outstanding results. Bat infestation is a serious problem because of the health risk bats pose, as well as their ability to pollute infected areas with their droppings. However, bat removal is a specialty work because bats are very delicate. Using the wrong methods can injure them and worsen the situation. Even worse, some bat species are protected, and the last thing you want is to get into legal trouble. As a fully licensed and insured company, you can be assured when you work with us. We carry liability insurance to protect your property. Once you get through to us, we send our technician to inspect every inch of your house using our 32-point inspection process. This enables us to pinpoint the entry holes used by bats to get into your home. After excluding the bats and sealing the holes, we decontaminate the polluted area and carry out all the necessary repairs. We specialize in bat colony extraction - we remove 100% of the bats without harming a single one! To us, nothing matters more than customer satisfaction. That's why we'll keep you in the loop throughout the entire process. And if the bat infestation problem arises within the warranty period (this rarely occurs), we will promptly send in our team of specialists to fix the issue at no additional cost. Because of our commitment and expertise, we've been consistently voted as the best wildlife company to work in the last three years.  We operate 24-7-365, so don't hesitate to call us at 854-999-424 to discuss your bat problem and schedule a fast appointment.

Residential

We are experts at removing bats from residential properties. Whether you have a single bat trapped in your house, a colony roosting in your attic, and/or various other problems, there is no need to worry! During our removal process, we make sure to inspect your entire home carefully, tracking down all the entrypoints bats are using to invade your place. Next, we perform a process called live exclusion (where no bats are harmed and all exit your property), then seal all entry holes completely shut. We also take care of the cleanup process after, so your home is safe and clean!

Commercial

Besides residential areas, we also have a wealth of experience removing bats from commercial properties! We begin by investigating the area for possible bat entrances, covering holes even as small as 1/4 of an inch. Through our live exclusion process, bats leave the building through one-way exits, and we seal up every hole afterward. Once the bats have been removed, we perform a cleanup process. This includes dealing with guano, replacing damaged insulation, and decontaminating the place.

What Our Customers Say

Are Bats Really Blind?

It was long thought that bats are blind because of many of the characteristics they have developed. Mainstream media has helped feed this myth to an uninformed public. However, bats are not really blind at all. In fact, some have better eyesight than humans.

The notion that bats are blind first evolved from their nocturnal nature. This myth was later reinforced when their echolocation activities were proven. The fact that they operate in the dark and use sound to identify objects in their environment led to a natural conclusion that bats were blind.

Bats are not blind at all. There are literally hundreds of different species of bats and each have developed their own specialized abilities. For instance, some species of bats deliver echolocation pulses through their nose while others use their mouths. Believe it or not, there are some bats that do not use echolocation at all.

Genetic Mutations

Each bat species has developed its own genetic mutations to aid in its ability to communicate and hunt for food. Bats have been recorded to have very keen eyesight.

Their eyesight has evolved to be well adapted to low light conditions since they hunt at night. It also aids in their enhanced hearing abilities. These capabilities give this vulnerable little creature the ability to find food and hunt for prey in the dark.

There are some species of bats that can even see ultra-violet rays. These UV vision capabilities allows them to feed from both flowers and insects. There are many plants and flowers which give off ultra-violet light and bats identify these wavelengths of color.

Yes, aside from visions some bats can even see color. It may sound crazy but its true. There are actually species of bats which combine echolocation activities with sight capabilities.

It is believed that this combination helps them accurately gauge distance and size in their environment. Bats are actually sensory masters meaning that their senses are hyper-developed and in tune. They tend to have large ears with characteristics that allow them to interpret echolocation pulses which humans can't even hear.

The same goes for their eyesight. Bats may not be able to see every color in the rainbow, but they are far from blind. Bats can see in both low-light and bright conditions, sometimes even better than humans. There are some bat species that are believed to have three times better eyesight than humans.

The term "blind as a Bat" is an oxymoron because it isn't true. So, don't be offended next time someone says you are blind as a bat. You probably see better than they do.
